Осужденный журналист Мевлюд Озташ, страдающий раком поджелудочной железы, вынужден получать химиотерапию в наручниках.
Больной журналист, бывший сотрудник закрытого информационного агентства Джихан, содержится в тюрьме с февраля 2018 года, сообщает сайт Bold Medya.
В телефонной беседе с семьей Озташ рассказал, что из-за коронавируса ему перенесли операцию на желудке.
«Врачи сказали, что если химиотерапия поможет, то будем ее применять. Процедура растянется на 21 день. Некоторые надзиратели идут на встречу и позволяют снимать наручники во время химии, но начальник запрещает», – поведал журналист.
«Кроме этого у меня печёночная недостаточность. Внутренние органы истощены. Останусь ли я в тюрьме решит специальная комиссия. Все зависит от их заключения», – добавил Озташ.
