Режим ПСР продолжает преследовать граждан по обвинению в причастности к движению Гюлена. Гонения не прекращаются даже в дни священного Рамадана.
Сообщается, что в Газиантепе, Ване, Измире, Ширнаке и Байбурте проведена полицейская операция, в ходе которой задержано 18 человек. Пять из них оказались женами отстранённых и уволенных по чрезвычайному декрету (KHK) сотрудников полиции.
Среди обвинений, предъявленных задержанным, наличие счета в Bank Asya, который был закрыт после попытки переворота в июле 2016 года.
Аналогичные задержания прошли в Стамбуле, где под стражу взяты 48 человек.
