В изоляторе временного содержания полиции Баглар (провинция Диярбакыр) три дня находится беременная Рабия Акгюн. Это результат операции, в ходе которой сотрудники полиции выломали двери и ворвались в дом подозреваемых.
Полицейский рейд с применением собак был совершен 9 августа. В ходе операции задержаны 3 человека, среди которых находящаяся на четвертом месяце беременности Рабия Акгюн. Всех задержанных доставили в участок.
Сообщается, что в ходе рейда полицейские применили грубую силу в отношении главы семейства Мехмета Эмина Акгюна и женщины, которая в тот момент была в гостях. Адвокат Акгюна позже сообщил, что мужчина пострадал, а его здоровью причинен ущерб. Пострадавшая сторона намерена подать заявление на противоправные действия полиции.
Акгюн, его беременная жена и вторая женщина обвиняются в членстве и поддержке террористической организации.
