В Анталье в квартире на последнем этаже восьмиэтажного здания обнаружены тела четырех членов одной семьи.
Полиция установила, что тела принадлежали Селиму Шимшеку (36 лет), его жене Султан Шимшек (38), детям Джерен Шимшек (9) и Али Чынар Шимшек (5). Выяснилось, что причиной смерти стал яд – цианид. В предсмертной записке глава семейства Селим Шимшек написал, что не мог найти работу девять месяцев из-за чего семья испытывала материальные проблемы. Кроме того, из-за долгов, накопившихся за девять месяцев, владельцы квартиры потребовали ее освободить.
Местная полиция остановилась на версии, что Селим Шимшек сперва отравил цианидом жену и детей, а потом покончил жизнь самоубийством, приняв тот же яд.
