Женщина по имени Мелек Джесур заключена под стражу несмотря на призыв известного правозащитника.
Ранее депутат парламента от ДПН, правозащитник Омер Фарук Гергерлиоглу написал в Твиттер об аресте женщины, муж которой содержится в тюрьме.
«Мелек Джесур – мать. Если её отправят в тюрьму, что станет с ребенком? Не оставляйте ребенка без матери. Не бросайте женщину за решетку. Судите без заключения под стражу», – написал правозащитник.
Позже стало известно, что не смотря на призывы правозащитника и неравнодушных граждан Мелек Джесур была заключена в тюрьму Эдирны вместе с ребёнком, которому 2,5 года. Таким образом, за решеткой оказалась целая семья.
Мелек Джесур и Юнус Джесур приговорены к 6 годам и 3 месяцам тюрьмы за причастность к движению Гюлена.
Напомним, более 800 младенцев и детей по-прежнему остаются со своими матерями в тюрьмах Турции.
