Организаторы бесплатной раздачи картофеля в городе Тунджели на востоке Турции оказались в полной растерянности. Удивление вызвало реакция местных жителей.
«Мы не употребляем харам», – заявили горожане.
Ранее в город прибыли, набитые картофелем грузовики. Мешки с картошкой планировалось раздать в рамках благотворительной акции министерства сельского и лесного хозяйств. Однако жители города отказались принимать помощь – ни один из жителей так и не подошел к грузовикам. В итоге, как утверждается, организаторам акции пришлось вернуть машины к месту отправки.
Позже губернатор провинции Тунджели заявил, что информация в социальных сетях и ряде СМИ не соответствует действительности. Все доставленные продукты были распределены между 6 тысячами домохозяйств за неделю.
