Следствие по делу о крушении поезда в Чорлу, где погибли 25 пассажиров, растянулось на 2,5 года. Суд не может установить виновных. Следующее слушание, уже пятое по счету, назначено на 21 апреля 2020 года. Родственники жертв железнодорожной катастрофы подвергли критике неспособность судебной системы вынести справедливое решение.
По словам дедушки погибшего в катастрофе 9-летнего Огуза Арды Селя, лица, которые должны вести следствие, не исполняют своих обязанностей.
«В стране не действует механизм правосудия. Люди просят справедливости. Люди погибают. Всем все равно. Все заняты только собой», – заявил он.
«Президент, ты можешь обнять и приласкать своего внука. Моего же внука разорвало на две части. Если хотите, посадите в тюрьму меня, но уберите свои грязные руки от справедливого разбирательства!» – добавил мужчина.
