В Европарламенте отменили выделение Турции помощи в размере 70 миллионов евро на подготовку к вступлению в Евросоюз.
Соответствующее решение принял бюджетный комитет Европарламента. Данное решение обусловлено отсутствием в Турции прогресса в сферах верховенства права, прав человека и свободы СМИ.
“Бюджетный комитет решил отменить 70 млн евро помощи Турции, которые должны были пойти в фонд по подготовке к вступлению в ЕС”, – отметили в комитете.
Вместо этого указанные средства предлагается перераспределить на реализацию мероприятий Евросоюза по преодолению миграционного кризиса, в частности в регионе Центрального Средиземноморья.
