Праздник Курбан байрам омрачила новость о насилии над женщиной в Измире. Сообщается, что украинка, подвергнутая жестокому изнасилованию, борется за жизнь на больничной койке.
48-летняя Светлана Аверкина из Украины, воспитывающая ребенка, познакомилась через соцсети с мужчиной и выехала к нему на встречу в Измир. В первый день Курбан байрама 11 августа женщину встретил в аэропорту имени Аднана Мендереса и отвез в район Басман неизвестный гражданин.
Мужчина запер несчастную женщину в одном из домов, а потом вместе с товарищами, жестоко изнасиловал. Аверкина получила тяжёлую травму половых органов. На ее крики о помощи откликнулись соседи, которые вызвали полицию. Прибывшая вместе со стражами порядка «скорая» доставила пострадавшую в больницу в районе Тепеджик. Здесь женщине провели срочную операцию. В настоящее время ее состояние остается тяжелым.
Полиция приступила к изучению записей с камер наблюдения в аэропорту Измира и поиску насильников.
