Директор исследовательского центра «Евразия» Кемал Озкираз рассказал на YouTube-канале журналиста Гёкхана Озбека о политических предпочтениях граждан. Эксперт отметил, что смена статуса Айя-Софии из музея в мечеть никак не повлияла на политические предпочтения жителей Турции.
Согласно итогам опроса, только 38,9% респондентов ответили утвердительно на высказывание «проголосую за Эрдогана на президентских выборах». 46,8% отказались голосовать за Эрдогана. При этом снизилось количество и избирателей за ПСР. В настоящее время процент поддерживающих правящую партию избирателей составляет 35%.
