Заместитель председателя парламентской комиссии по правам человека и депутат НРП от Анкары, правозащитница Шенол Сарыхан, выступая в парламенте Турции, обратила внимание депутатов на случаи похищения граждан в ходе OHAL (режим чрезвычайного положения).
Сарыхан напомнила, что в мае 2017 года на имя премьер-министра Бинали Йылдырыма был отправлен запрос о судьбе похищенных граждан. «С момента, когда мы отправили запрос и по сегодняшний день мы и семьи похищенных граждан так не получили официального ответа. К примеру, не получила ответа жена Умита Хорзума, который пропал в декабре 2016 года. Женщина осталась с двумя детьми, но продолжает борьбу. Она своими силами ищет доказательства похищения супруга, хотя это прямая обязанность уполномоченных органов», – сказала правозащитница.
По словам Сарыхан, женщина в страхе за судьбу своего мужа, за себя и детей. Боится, что если выйдет на улицу, то уже никогда не вернется. «Кто в силах развеять страхи жены Хорзума?» – обратилась к парламентариям Шенол Сарыхан.
