Турецкое подразделение Красного полумесяца совершило жертвоприношение в Курбан-байрам 1800 голов скота, хотя собранная сумма позволяла принести в жертву намного больше – 40 тысяч голов.
Как передает газета Takagazete, ежегодно Красный полумесяц собирает средства для жертвоприношения в дни Курбан-байрама. В этом году одна доля за животное составляла 750 турецких лир, всего было собрано 40 тысяч долей. Организация имела договор со специализированной фирмой, которая в прошлые годы оповещала Управление по делам религии, где были совершены жертвоприношения. В этом году оповещения не было.
Позже стали известны подробности. Выяснилось, что нанятая фирма зарезала 1800 голов скота лишь в Польше и Болгарии, в Турции на собранные средства жертвоприношения не проводились. Ожидается, что в ближайшие дни жертвенное мясо будет доставлено в страну. Скандал с пропавшим 1 млн евро не вызвал у руководителей Красного полумесяца никакой реакции, напротив организация планирует открыть новый холдинг.
